The Judging Process and Awards Criteria
|
Shortlisting and Awards Criteria All Award categories, except for the Grand Prix and Special Awards will be shortlisted in the first instance. The shortlisting judges will be asked to select up to the best five entries from the submissions in each category which meet all of the entry criteria. These entries should have the potential to be considered for a gold, silver or bronze award. The final judging panel will select the award winners from these shortlists. Gold, silver and bronze awards may be given for each Category Award. The following criteria are taken into consideration by the Judges when reviewing the Category Award entries: To win a bronze award an entry must demonstrate a sound methodology of media evaluation. The results thereof should demonstrate the achievement, or not, of communication and evaluation objectives. To win a silver award an entry must demonstrate the requirements for a bronze award and in addition the media evaluation should also impact on current and/or future communication strategy. To win a gold award an entry must demonstrate the requirements for a silver award and in addition should support the development of communication strategy in the pursuit of wider organisational goals. The evaluation should also ideally ‘push the boundary of current best practice’. |
Judging Criteria Category Awards The judges will consider the following criteria when reviewing all Category Award entries: Objective/Brief Strategy Execution/Implementation Conclusion Judges reserve the right to change the category in which an entry has been submitted should they feel that it would be more appropriate in another category. Judges do not have to make an award (gold, silver, bronze) if they feel that the entries in that category are not of sufficient calibre. |

| Platinum Award When considering which entry most deserves to win the Platinum Award the judges will also consider: |
