Flora Hamilton - Founder and Director

Flora started her events management career as a marketing executive for BBC Training Videos in 1991. There she had produced a wide range of events including screenings at BAFTA, regional roadshows, trade exhibitions, press conferences, sales conferences and team building events.

From there Flora added to her events experience at Two-Ten Communications, now PR Newswire, with client seminars, breakfast briefings, pub quizzes, softball tournaments and Christmas parties.

During her five years at the Public Relations Consultant Association, Flora excelled at developing a world-class events programme for members. This included the FrontLine Awards programme, the annual conference on PR agency management, training programmes for all staff levels at PR agencies, CEO Business Lunch Forums and other specialist conferences.

Since going solo in 2005, Flora has provided events management services to a number of clients including AMEC and WCBF - Six Sigma Solutions, which she now retains as clients of Cando Events.

Kathleen Norstrand - Events Manager

Kathleen has nine years event management experience, starting her career with the Roux Brothers, working along side the event management team organising both large and small scale client dinners, cocktail parties and social events. From there she gained further marketing and event experience with Sirona Systems, a software house, coordinating the production of events and exhibitions. Kathleen followed on to gain a portfolio of experience through the management of corporate events for the Global Investment Banking Division of the French Investment Bank, Société Générale. During her time at SG she progressed from marketing events coordinator to manager, having responsibility in the production of one-on-one meetings, roadshows, conferences and seminars, and through to organising, controlling and promoting corporate memberships, sponsorships and hospitality events.

Nathan Tari - Events and Promotions Manager

Nathan started his events and PR career in 2001 and now has a broad background in events management and entertainment promotion. He has managed large scale events in both the public and private sectors. These range from trade shows, exhibitions and conferences, to producing live entertainment and promotional projects. As a result of his mixed events and PR roles with organisations, including The University of Southampton and HiT Entertainment, Nathan is able to identify key elements and creatively develop a brand.

Tim Huxford - Creative Director

Tim joined the graphic design team at The Economist Intelligence Unit in 1991. By 1996 he was head designer and oversaw the implementation of a new corporate identity. In 1998 he set up Pen to Paper Marketing Services with a former colleague, becoming Creative Director. He has since designed marketing collateral for a huge variety to business-to-business clients, including conference companies, publishers and trade associations.
